Emergency Help for Seniors

Use these guides when an older adult needs urgent help with rent, utilities, food, shelter, medication, transportation, unsafe housing, or another immediate financial or safety problem. For immediate danger or a medical emergency, call the appropriate emergency service. For non-life-threatening needs, 211, local aging agencies, community action programs, food providers, and state or local assistance programs may help.
